Q: Where should I park?
A: There is plenty of street parking available around the salon. During the daytime hours there are usually a ton of open spots, and it's all 2 hours free! If you will be with us for longer than 2 hours, or after 6pm, or on a game day (Ravens/Orioles), please come in and grab a parking pass from us.
Q: Do you take walk-ins?
A: Typically, we are booked out in advance so it can be hard for us to take a walk-in, but if we have free time then yes!
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: For Head spa appointments, we ask that you do not bring any guests. For salon appointments, we welcome guests occasionally, however, keep in mind that we are a small space and unable to accommodate many people for seating.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We kindly ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made inside of this window may be subject to a fee.
Q: What products do you use?
A: We use eco-conscious, cruelty free, carbon neutral brands on your hair and scalp. We always try to support brands who align with our vision and mission. We have also created some of our own hair and skin oils that are made in-house and are completely natural. In the salon we proudly carry Paul Mitchell, Maria Nila, Trybe and The Doux. In the head spa we use Milbon.
Q: How do you accept Gratuity?
A: Cash, credit card or other online platforms, whatever is most convenient for you.
Q: Should my hair be clean when I come for my appointment?
A: For guests seeking a natural curly cut/shaping, we ask that you please come with your hair clean and styled that way that you would normally wear it with the products you would normally use.
For hair color guests, please arrive with no heavy oils, hairspray or dry shampoo.
For all other services, the hair does not need to be freshly washed.
Q: What should I wear or bring to my Head Spa appointment?
A: Just bring yourself! We will provide everything you need. You can wear comfy clothes- you will be reclined for most of the treatment, and we will provide you with a robe if you choose to wear one.
Q: Is a Head spa treatment safe for color treated hair?
A: We recommend getting a head spa either two weeks before or two weeks after you have a chemical treatment (color, relaxer, perm, keratin) done. It can make the scalp a bit sensitive before a chemical, and you also want your hair to have enough rest time after any chemical treatment before a head spa.
Q: How will my hair be after my Head Spa appointment?
A: We offer a self-styling station for blow drying, a hooded dryer for hands free drying, hair turbans, and of course you are welcome to leave with damp hair if you choose! You can also book an add on blow dry with one of our stylists if there is availability.
